Israel has a choice

Every time a civilian in Israel proper or a Palestinian civilian is hurt or killed it is an act of terrorism. However, there is an important difference: Israel is illegally occupying the West Bank and Gaza and has the use of unlimited high-tech military equipment, paid for in large part by American taxpayers, while Palestine, with very few resources, is suffering under a cruel military occupation.
The killing of all civilians is tragic. Yet the Palestinians, who are losing so many more lives and so much more materially, have not been totally beaten down by the Israeli attacks because they have no choice if they want to retain a land and culture. Israel does have a choice. It can pull out -- completely out -- of Gaza and the West Bank, instead of offering unworkable and degrading solutions for Palestinians in their own country.
What people would accept such conditions in their own land?
