Thank you Holger Jensen and George Kochaniec for getting your hands dirty -- and injured by shrapnel, I'm sad to read -- in the reality of the Palestinian experience.
Talking about what is happening to Palestinians is as dangerous politically as being in Gaza is to one's health. But these stories must be told if we are to make informed decisions about our government's support of Israel's illegal military occupation of the West Bank and Gaza.
We as U.S. citizens play a huge role in the conflict by pumping billions of dollars in tax-bought weapons into the occupation, where they are used to mow down Palestinian children, demolish Palestinian homes and carry out political assasinations. We deserve to be informed. Thank you Rocky Mountain News for having the courage to allow Jensen to bring us the full story in this intolerant political climate.
