Palestinians dying at hands of Israelis

Here is an excellent analogy of the conflict between the Palestinians and the Israelis:

One man is brutally drowning another man. The man being drowned is flailing around trying to save himself while the man pushing him down yells that if he would just stop fighting back he wouldn't have to be so violent in drowning him. As soon as the drowning man stops fighting back he is dead. The man doing the drowning represents the Israelis and the man being drowned represents the Palestinians.

It is sadly ironic that the U.S. government continues to condemn the drowning man for fighting back, yet praises the man doing the drowning for being "A man of peace."
